SPENCER — Board of Assessors approves motor vehicle and real estate abatements, exemptions. Members Pam Woodbury, Elaine Jaquith, and Nancy Herholz (by phone), with Principal Assessor Linda LeBlanc, voted unanimously to approve eight motor vehicle abatement applications and 159 exemptions across all categories. The board processed $1,432,798.89 in FY26-01 commitments and $10,487.88 in FY25-07 commitments.
Real estate actions included approval of three 41C Elderly exemptions at $750 each and denial of one exemption application; five solar company abatement applications were withdrawn from consideration.
