Board of Health approves septic plan for Westland Drive
Board of Health · Meeting of April 7, 2026
Spencer Board of Health approves Westland Drive septic plan unanimously. Members Danielle Gebo, Frank White, and Daniel Shields approved the septic system plan for 9 Westland Drive despite a failing system and substandard 54-foot separation to the owner's well when 100 feet is required. The board also unanimously approved a 12-chicken animal permit for 29 Prospect Street.
Member Shields requested a review of all existing chicken permits, and Board of Health Agent Lisa Daoust agreed to address dumpster overflow issues with property owners.
