Board of Selectmen Approves Utilities Superintendent, Cherry Street Agreement

Spencer Board of Selectmen unanimously approves utilities superintendent hire, 11 Cherry Street property agreement. The board backed an employment agreement for John Small, a 17-year public works veteran from Ashland, as Utilities and Facilities Superintendent. The board also unanimously approved a revised Purchase and Sale agreement and Development agreement for 11 Cherry Street, where the buyer formed an LLC and is completing financing requirements.

Town Administrator Jeff Bridges noted the agreement allows the buyer to skip the due diligence period and move directly to closing under revised land development terms.
