Spencer Conservation Commission directs four notices of violation during April meeting. The board cited 40 Brooks Pond Road for erosion from electrical trench work, 25 Oakland Drive for an unauthorized fence in jurisdiction, 25 Paxton Road for failed erosion controls, and 20 Whittemore Cove for a pool near the wetland and perimeter drain failures. In related business, the commission voted unanimously to approve a negative determination for Spencer Soccer Club's road-improvement project at Camp Marshall (75 McCormick Road) using town highway millings and to amend the Order of Conditions for Cranberry Meadow lake chemical treatment.
All four violating property owners were required to attend follow-up meetings and remediate violations.
