Spencer sewer board approves $489,378 system rehabilitation project with federal grant support. Commissioners Francis X. White and Lawrence H.
Dufault voted unanimously on July 8 to award the contract to Insituform, funded by a $436,900 Rural Development grant and $61,478 town contribution. The board also unanimously approved a $19,414 MIIA insurance payment related to the plant expansion project. An upcoming July 15 meeting with the Water Board will address potential effects of planned water treatment upgrades.
