Spencer Board of Assessors unanimously approved 58 motor vehicle abatement applications and processed real estate exemptions totaling more than $9,000 at its April 13 meeting. Members Nancy Herholz, Elaine Jaquith, and Pam Woodbury (by phone), with Principal Assessor Linda LeBlanc, approved motor vehicle excise abatements across three fiscal years and processed three Department of Revenue Gateway forms for veterans exemptions and motor vehicle excise reimbursements, exempting $96,751.97 in FY26 real estate tax and $8,796.91 in motor vehicle excise for 100 percent disabled veterans to be submitted before April 30 for state reimbursement eligibility.
