Spencer Conservation Commission approves Howe Road project, continues farm hearing to April 8. The Commission voted unanimously to approve a Notice of Intent for 51 Howe Road with conditions requiring drainage infrastructure servicing. The Commission also continued a public hearing for a 108-acre farm property at 26 Kingsbury Road, owned by John and Jeri Mahaney, pending peer review and environmental study of wetlands and a potential vernal pool.
The resumed hearing will determine whether the farm reclamation and barn-construction project meets the town's environmental standards.
