Spencer Conservation Commission clears Dale Street project

Spencer Conservation Commission unanimously issues negative determination for property on Dale Street. The commissioners voted 7-0 to approve the determination for Thalita Nataly Dernulc's retaining wall work at 11 Dale Street, allowing the project to proceed without a wetland-resource area permit. Chair Mary McLaughlin reviewed the inspection report before the vote; revised plans showed only the retaining wall would be affected.
In separate business, the Commission continued an Abbreviated Notice of Resource Area Delineation hearing for C.R. Hansen-Construction LLC at Capen Road to March 11, 2026, after abutters raised questions about buildable area and septic systems.
