Spencer library trustees hear community programming updates.

Library Trustees · Meeting of January 20, 2026

Spencer library trustees approve minutes, hear programming update. The Richard Sugden Library Trustees approved the previous meeting's minutes at their January 20 session and heard reports from Director Cheryl Donahue and Assistant Director Katie Smith on community programming. Children's services reported monthly story times with guest performer Deb Hudgins, new toys, grade K-10 newsletters and grab-and-go kits, and monthly Community Gaming Coalition visits.

Adult services include Tuesday-morning meditation both in-person and via Zoom, Monday-morning Coffee Chat drawing 12 to 20 weekly participants, and crochet and knitting classes. The library continues outreach to homebound patrons and Lincoln Hill Manor residents.
