Spencer records dozen deeds in August-September stretch, but few sale prices disclosed

Spencer recorded 12 property transfers between Aug. 14 and Sept. 12, per Worcester County Registry of Deeds data, but only two listed a sale price: $100,000 for 50 Ash St. and $200,000 for 41 Sherman Grove, the period's top sale. The median of those two disclosed prices was $150,000. Ten transactions, including two involving the Spencer town treasurer and three trust-related transfers, carried no stated price. Sherman Grove and Shore Drive each saw two transfers.
