Spencer water board approves warrant articles for May town meeting. The three-member Board of Water Commissioners unanimously approved five warrant articles (Articles 18-22) for the May 7 Annual Town Meeting, with Interim Superintendent Gary Kellaher presenting departmental priorities. The commissioners also unanimously approved a $3,600 ClearCom quote for a rugged laptop for meter reading operations.
Lead service line inspections are scheduled to begin in late April at 33 locations, with Route 9 water service work to be conducted at night to minimize business disruption.
