Spencer Zoning Board defers two variance applications. The board unanimously continued hearings on Kenneth MacDonald's proposal to demolish seasonal camps and build a 3,000-square-foot home on Wilson Avenue and Albert and Donna Starr's request for an accessory dwelling unit on Washburn Drive, with both set to return August 11. Chair Donna Parker, Member Jeffrey Butensky, and Member Allan Collette scheduled a July 27 site walk for the Washburn Drive property to examine setback placement.
The board reelected Parker as Chair and Butensky as Vice-Chair. The town is evaluating four consulting proposals for a comprehensive review of its zoning bylaw and subdivision regulations.
